History of Walker's Clothing & Shoes

In 1928 Glenn Walker started a men's clothier in a small, single storefront in Lancaster, Wisconsin. His vision was to offer quality clothing at an affordable price. He offered formal and casual work wear with on site alterations and repair for those who needed it. His son, John Walker, began working with his father at an early age and in 1959 bought the business. In 1990, after great expansion, John's son, Steve Walker, purchased the family business and continued to build on its foundation.

Today, what once was a men's clothier, has grown into a fashion destination for the entire family. With over 16,000 square feet and five store fronts, Walker's Clothing and Shoes now offers an entire line of clothing for men, women and children while continuing to offer quality personal service not found in traditional retail stores.
